Basement, Kitchen + Bathrooms Remodel
CD+B gutted a partially finished basement and added a bedroom, an office, laundry room and ¾ bathroom. The bathroom featured historically accurate materials, such as a hex tile floor (with heat mat and programmable thermostat beneath) marble countertop and shower bench top, and subway tile surround. An exterior exit was rebuilt and a protective roof with historically accurate corbels was added, while replacing the stairwell drain and installing a new door.
A small kitchen was gutted, a hallway and mud room were removed, to add extra square footage to the space and CD+B installed extensive cabinetry and island eating area.
CD+B also gutted and re-built two bathrooms, which included adding new windows, plumbing fixtures, and tile.
