Bathroom Remodeling Scope
Cherry Design + Build handles all scopes of bathroom remodeling, large and small, in residential construction. We are a Design and Build firm, and we offer in-house design services. We do use subcontractors, they handle plumbing, electric and tile. Your main point of contact will be Sam Adams or the main lead carpenter on the project.
Costs of Bathroom Remodels
- Small Projects – 30k
- Medium Projects – 50k
- Larger Projects – 80k
We create itemized estimates. We require a 5% deposit to reserve a spot on the schedule, 15% of cost on the first day of work, and then milestone payments throughout the project. Our quotes are very specific laying out what is and isn’t included. There are disposal fees, and sometimes we charge permit fees. We do not offer financing options.
Bedroom Remodel Timeline & Disruption
Bathroom remodels are completed in 4-6 weeks. Keep our team busy without overburdening the team, we handle 2-3 projects at once. Our workers arrive at 7:30am and leave at 4:30am. We are very tidy, and haul debris away frequently. We take great care in masking all floors we walk on and setting up plastic walls to contain dust.
Building Permits & Code Compliance
Most projects require permits. Typically, projects with a market value over $6000, and any structural work require permits. All electrical work requires permits. The contractor is responsible for pulling the permits, unless otherwise noted in the contract.

How do you handle Change Orders?
It is important to make sure Make sure any change orders are transparent and documented. Change orders are agreed upon, signed by both parties, and payable at the next scheduled payment milestone.
Sometimes unexpected issues arise (like water damage behind walls). If the issue can be assumed to exist but is not visible, the price will be estimated and included in the bid. When the full extent of the work is known, a change order for the difference will be issued.
Warranties & Guarantees
- Labor is warrantied for a year
- The company covers call-backs for common issues like silicone joints or door adjustments within the first year
- Individual materials have manufacturer warrantees and if these materials fail, it is not the responsibility of the Cherry Design + Build
