Design
CD+B has extensive experience designing kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, decks, whole-house repair and ground-up construction. We are adept at creating an achievable vision, informed by decades of experience working in Seattle’s unique wood-framed homes. Every step of the design process is a collaboration between our designers, clients, and technical advisors. Our process balances realistic budgets, client tastes and vision, and structural and energy requirements, collaboratively achieving a roadmap for construction.
Budgeting
CD+B believes in honest and open pricing–bid documents itemizes phase, and sub itemizes tasks, and separates labor and material. Our clients know what each part of their project costs.
Project Management
We understand the complexity of residential construction and aim to make it as painless as possible. We work hard to create and communicate a project schedule, which we share in real-time with clients. All phases and their associated subcontractor or employee are outlined in a dynamic, on-line project management software, along with photos of each day’s progress.
Construction
Our team members are highly experienced, hardworking, and kind. The work we deliver is always at the highest possible standard. We also understand that we are guests in a client’s home, and we act accordingly. We cover floors, build dust-protection walls, and use air-filtering machines. Clean job sites and happy clients are primary goals for all team members.
